Luxembourg banks with profits in 2008
Profits before provisions of the Luxembourg banking sector are estimated to have reached 5,762 million euros at the close of December 2008, according to a press release issued yesterday by the supervisory authority of the Luxembourg financial centre CSSF. This represents a decrease of 8.6% compared to 31 December 2007 when profits before provisions amounted to 6,306 million euros.
